This year, as we celebrate our 16th Thanksgiving with you, we’ve been thinking a lot about how far Castello’s Pizza has come – and how much of that journey belongs to our community here in Clermont, Windermere, and the West Orlando area, 16 Years of Gratitude, Community & Quality

From the beginning, Castello’s was never just about pizza. It was about creating a place where families could gather after a long day, friends could reconnect over a hot slice, and new traditions could be born around a shared table.

And for 16 Thanksgivings now, you’ve given us the honor of being part of your story, too.

Our Journey: From One Oven to a Community Tradition

When we first opened our doors back in 2009, we were just a small, family-run pizza shop with big dreams:

• Make everything with care and honesty.

• Treat every guest like family.

• Never cut corners on quality.

There were no shortcuts then, and there still aren’t today. Dough was mixed by hand, sauce simmered slowly, and every pizza that came out of the oven had to be something we’d be proud to serve at our own family table.

Over the years, we’ve grown alongside the communities we serve. Families who first walked in with little kids now come back with teenagers. We’ve seen first dates turn into anniversaries. We’ve fed teams after big wins, comforted people after hurricanes and hard days, and helped cater everything from birthdays to graduations.

And every Thanksgiving season, as the air (finally) cools down a bit in Florida and families start coming together, we feel that gratitude even more.

While a lot has changed in 16 years, the heart of our kitchen hasn’t. We still believe that if you do the basics right, the rest will follow.

At Castello’s Pizza, we:

• Make our dough fresh in-house every day – no frozen shortcuts, no pre-made bases. Just real dough, mixed and proofed with time and care.

• Craft our own tomato sauce with a focus on balance – low salt, low sugar, and full of flavor from quality tomatoes and classic Italian herbs.

• Use premium mozzarella cheese and fresh toppings, prepared daily so every pie stretches just right and tastes rich without being heavy.

• Hand-toss and bake our pizzas the old-fashioned way, so you get that perfect balance: crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside.

We know many families are more careful than ever about what they eat. That’s why we stay committed to offering pizza that’s not just delicious, but thoughtfully made. From our classic New York–style pies to specialty creations and gluten-free options, we build each pizza like it matters — because it does.

We’re thankful for:

• Our amazing team in the kitchen and at the front counter, who show up, hustle, and care about every order that leaves the oven.

• Our communities in Clermont and Windermere, who chose to support a local, family-run pizzeria and helped turn it into a neighborhood tradition.

You’ve trusted us with date nights, team celebrations, kids’ parties, lunch breaks, and quiet nights at home. You’ve recommended us to neighbors, left reviews, tagged us in your photos, and brought out-of-town family here “because they have to try this place.”

We don’t take that lightly.

Sixteen Thanksgivings in, we’re still dreaming, still improving, and still fired up (literally) every day our ovens turn on.
